The next of kin of a financial member with five (5) or more year's membership of the Sub-Branch, who passes away, may apply to the Executive and Management Committee to have the member's ashes interned in the Columbarium within the Memorial Garden and the location marked with a memorial plaque. The cost of the placement of the ashes and the memorial plaque to be borne by the Sub-Branch and the deceased member qualifies for the Benevolent Assistance.
The next of kin of a financial Sub-Branch member with less than five (5) years membership, who passes away, may apply to the Executive and Management Committee to have the member's ashes interned in the Columbarium within the Memorial Garden, the cost to be borne by the Sub-Branch, but the deceased member does not qualify for the Benevolent Assistance.
Any member who has been financial for ten (10) or more years and has since moved away and ceased to be a financial member, and passes away, their next of kin may apply in writing to the Sub-Branch Executive and Management Committee for the ashes to be interned in the Columbarium within the Memorial Garden at the cost of the next of kin.
The next of kin of any deceased member of the Sub-Branch whose remains are interned in the Columarium within the Memorial Garden may apply in writing to have the ashes of the spouse or partner of the deceased member placed within the same niche, the cost of such internment to be borne by the Sub-Branch.
